Antonio Albaicín

JUSTO ANTONIO MORENO YAÑEZ "ANTONIO ALBAICÍN" was born in 1912 in Granada. His first steps in flamenco were made with cante in 1925. His higher voice makes him the winner of a competition at the Teatro Cervantes in Granada in 1925. This triumph led to numerous successes all over Spain. The puberty caused his miraculous voice to change and the faculties for the cante to be lost, which motivated him to approach the guitar on the basis of his father, a great amateur. He died in Madrid on March 11, 2009.
