George Theiss

A singer songwriter well known in the New Jersey Shore Scene, notably Asbury Park over the last 50 plus years. As a teenager, he was indelibly linked with his first band, the Castiles who brought on a young Bruce Springsteen to play guitar. After the Castiles, he went on to play in the bands including Rusty Chain, Doo-Dah, Cahoots and The George Theiss Band. Born: 22 September 1949 Died: 13 July 2018
