Drunken Starfighter

Band Members: Willis "Mecha 1" Rosenthal Jaclyn Talbert Evans Chris "Ichy the KIller" Larson Drunken Starfighter is a reggae dub collective conceived in the Silicon Valley of California. In 2001, the band solidified through mutual love of late 70's early 80's Jamaican artists such as King Tubby, Roots Radics, & The Scientist. Drunken Starfighter began booking shows around the San Francisco Bay Area and naturally word got out about their unique sound and conscious lyrics. In turn opening doors for Starfighter to open for top national artists such as Eek-A-Mouse, The Specials, Crown City Rockers, The English Beat, Living Legends, Long Beach Short Bus , Zion-I, Katchafire, Project Blowed and Bay Area hip-hop legends Digital Underground as well as a westcoast and Japan tour. Drunken Starfighter's self-titled demo was released in late Fall 2003 on Stickynote Records. 2013 brings the much awaited follow -up "Mixtape Estrella". It is their mission to enlighten minds with their rock-steady dub sound and sci-fi inspired lyrics.
