As a successful composer and producer, Marco Flores, Marco Antonio Flores Heras, has proven to be one of the true values of the music industry throughout his career. As ASCAP's "Composer of the Year" in 2001, Marco has deserved the attention of critics and musicians alike, and has been highly praised and recognized for his many accomplishments. Marco has composed and produced 400 songs, 4 of which ranked number one on the list of most popular songs the same year (2000), and has also achieved an impressive number of award-winning albums: 14 Platinum Records and 22 Gold Records . Marco was born in Mexico, a country that prides itself on developing artistic talent from a very early age. As a result of the environment that surrounded him, at age 9 he created the musical group Brothers and Friends, in collaboration with his brothers. In 1971 the group participated in a festival called "Nuevos Valores" presented by Raúl Velasco, the well-known Mexican television animator, and won the first place.
