Jack Hazzard

Jack ‘Haz” Hazzard was a real estate developer, business executive, investor, philanthropist, art collector, writer and music-video producer, based in Austin, Texas, New York City and Chicago, Illinois. Born in Chicago on April 18, 1946, he later moved to Indiana. After graduating from Purdue University, he moved to Texas in the late 1960s. While in Austin, he was involved in Continental Records (15) and worked with the swing band 8 1/2 Souvenirs. Hazzard passed away at his Chicago residence on March 27, 2014, age 68.
