Gunnar Ternhag

Swedish music researcher, professor of sound and music production at Dalarna University and professor of musicology at Stockholm University, born October 31, 1948. He has worked at the Department of Musicology, Uppsala University, Dalarna Museum and Dalarna Research Council. His research is mainly focused on musicology, such as the doctoral dissertation from the University of Gothenburg in 1992 on the orthodox fiddler Hjort-Anders Olsson. Ternhag is a member of the Royal Academy of Music and has been the editor of the review department at the Swedish Journal of Music Research.
