Bengt Löfberg
Настоящее имя: Bengt Löfberg
Об исполнителе:
Swedish fiddler from Småland, born 17 September 1944 in Kalmar parish. Together with Pelle Björnlert, Löfberg became one of the leading figures in the "renewal" of folk music in the 1970s, the so-called folk music wave, by revitalizing older playing practice. During the 1970s and 1980s, Löfberg released two albums together with Björnlert: En roliger dans (1977) and Raskens trall (1981). The collaboration with Björnlert continued at the 2000 Mikaelidansen, in which the accordionist Erik Pekkari also participated. The following year, Löfberg's solo album Luringen and 2006 Gubbstöt were released, where he once again collaborated with Björnlert and Pekkari, but also with his son Anders Löfberg.
