For the classical pianist and harpsichordist, see John Gillespie (8). ******************* John/Jon Gillespie has performed professionally as a keyboardist/singer/songwriter with touring bands "Blue Miracle", "Jarflys" (feat. Jimi Haha of Jimmie's Chicken Shack), "Electric Sky", and with Baltimore-based "All Mighty Senators", with whom he has been the supporting act for well known artists such as Santana, Blues Traveler, Weezer, Chris Robinson of the Black Crowes, Ben Folds, Sean Lennon, The Band, Grand Funk Railroad, Blackfoot, House of Pain, Counting Crows... Jon also has had the honor of thrice singing the national anthem before Baltimore Orioles games at Camden Yards, and the privilege of performing as a session player (on the Hammond organ) on the late Eva Cassidy's album "Songbird"; which has sold over 8 million copies worldwide. Jon has released his first solo CD, "The Dr. Gillespie Killings" (Nonsuch Productions).
