Luisín Del Rosario

Luisín Del Rosario stands out as one of the greatest musical exponents of the Dominican Republic of international dimension thanks to his high musical knowledge and his virtuous skills as a performer of the saxophone. Born in San Cristóbal, Dominican Republic. His father is Colonel Retired IN Dr. Luis A. Del Rosario Garcia and his mother is Mrs. Miladys Caballero de Del Rosario. At the age of thirteen he began his musical studies under the tutelage of the outstanding professors Jesús Abreu Martínez, Juan Javier Rodríguez and Lolo Javier. Soon he was a high saxophonist of the Music Band of the City of San Cristóbal and a member of the Youth Orchestra of this same city together with talented young people from San Cristobal. Immediately it is requested by prestigious orchestras of popular music of national dimension. This is how the Orquesta Liberación, the Ramón Orlando International Orchestra, of which he was a founding member, stood out in the Aníbal Bravo orchestra. In the nineties he belongs to the outstanding orchestra of Wilfrido Vargas and successfully wins as an arranger and musical producer for artists such as Olga Tañón, Sergio Vargas, Alex Bueno, Yarumba, Rubby Pérez, Hedí Herrera, among others. Then in the year 2000 he was nominated along with the teachers José Antonio Molina and Manuel Tejada as arranger or orchestrator of the year at the Casandra Awards of the Association of Art Journalists.
