James Wylie (3)

Saxophonist, clarinetist and composer born in 1986, currently based in Boston, MA He studied at the New Zealand School of Music in Wellington where he received his Bachelor of Music (Honours). The latter of these two awards allowed him to continue formal study at the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston, MA. He graduated in 2010 with a Masters of Music (Honours) in Jazz Performance. He has performed with Jorrit Dijkstra, Anthony Coleman, Jonathan Crayford, Sam Rivers, Wayne Shorter, Bob Moses, Cecil McBee, Matti Kovler, Frank Carlberg, Ken Schaphorst, Kathrin Pechlof, Benjamin Schaefer, Igor Spallati and Max Andrzejewski.
