Aleksander Vinter

Musician and visual artist born on 17th of April 1987 in Holmestrand, Norway. He has released a vast amount of work under numerous aliases and collaborative projects but is best known for his work under the alias Savant. In his mid-teens, Aleksander was given a psychiatric evaluation and diagnosed with Aspergers syndrome, bordering on savantism. He released his debut album, Outbreak, under the alias Vinter in Hollywood. Outbreak was nominated in the electronic music category for the 2009 Norwegian Grammy Awards.
