Los Embajadores Criollos, are a famous trio of Peruvian music, also known as " Los Ídolos Del Pueblo ", their vast repertoire of Música Criolla included vals peruano, polca peruana and huaynos festejo. This group was reputed to have recorded more than 110 songs of Música Criolla with melancholy and romantic style that was characteristic of that time. They were formed with the following members: Rómulo Varillas, voice Rods 1st and 2nd Guitar Alejandro Rodríguez, 1st Guitar Carlos Correa, on the 2nd voice Los Embajadores Criollos put as much feeling and dedication into their compositions. Each song is an imperishable memory which always present the style and quality of its members. Shot to fame in 1950 on Radio Atalaya, popular radio station was located on the third floor of the Washington Jr., it was its manager Mr. Juan Silva Villacorta who affectionately called him Spaniel by the look on his face. The unique timbre of the voice of Romulo, his falsetto, his cock creating a timely fielding personalidísimo plaintive and tender style the public listener of those years being shocked with "Los Embajadores Criollos".
