The New Classic Singers

band of "4 boys and 4 girls" contracted in February 1965 for session dates on Capitol. A strictly controlled production project assembled by the head of A&R for Colpix, Hank Levine. Their debut album sold respectably after sporadic TV appearances, but later disbanded after a low-print follow up album. Tight, echoing vocal harmonies manage to sound exhilarating decades later as a lounge act.
