American vocalist. Married to trumpeter and later record executive Jim Conkling. Born on September 3, 1918 Sanford, Colorado Died on June 16, 2007 in Hollywood Hills, California. Not one of the original King Trio but the name changed to the King Sisters once she joined. They gained fame as a singing act in the 1930s and 1940s, and who appeared on a weekly national ABC show "The King Family (1966-1969) and holiday specials thereafter. Mother of Candy Brand.
