Alfreda Davis

Alfreda Davis (January 1, 1934 - June 15, 1990) was a member of the gospel singing group, The Davis Sisters (2). She was the youngest of the Davis sisters who had started singing with the group at age 10. She was the long-time business manager of the group. Alfreda always collected the performance money from the promoter before the Sisters entered the auditorium and she led the group on stage. She was known as the “Narrator,” as she would narrate the faithful prayers, biblical stories, and the stirring messages of convictions in some of the group’s songs.
