After following a complete course until the demise of his master, he has given himself to his art in Pakistan. His knowledge of ragas is extensive, and he masters hundreds of compositions including some signed by Amir Kushrau or Bahadur Shah Zaffar, the last Moghol emperor. An artist of the National radio, he gives most of his time to his disciples.
