Gerry Granahan
Настоящее имя: Gerry Granahan
Об исполнителе:
American singer, songwriter, and record producer. He worked at WPTS as a radio announcer and disc jockey in his youth. His Elvis Presley-like voice got him a job recording demos of songs submitted to Presley. He signed with Sunbeam Records (3) and had minor success in mid-1958 with the novelty hit "No Chemise Please". He went on to greater success, however, as Dicky Doo of Dicky Doo & The Don'ts with the backing and support of Dick Clark (2) on the Swan label, a move that was necessitated by his contractural ties to his former label, Sunbeam. Later in his career, Granahan served as vice president of Dot Records and Paramount Records. Born: April 20, 1932 in Pittston, Pennsylvania Died: January 10, 2022 in East Greenwich, Rhode Island
