Chuck Foster (3)

American big band leader, musician (sax/clarinet) and vocalist. Born August 26, 1912 Jeanette, Pennsylvania Died December 13, 2001. Organized his first band on the West Coast and toured the Midwest. His orchestra was very popular throughout the country, with the group travelling more than 50,000 miles in private automobiles and played in 28 states from 1941-1942. Foster wrote the song "I’ve Been Drafted, Now I’m Drafting You".
