They formed in the early nineties in the city of Mazatlán, Sinaloa, Mexico. The group was formed by members of the rock bands: "Hamlet y Los Encantadores Hombres de Nuestro Santo Patrono" both originally from the port city. The first original line-up was composed by: Winny Quintanilla, Juan Carlos Inzunza, Sergio Avila, Jaime Coppel, Juancho Benitez and Guillermo Hernández. This line-up later recorded the cassette titled "Historias de la Ciudad" in Guadalajara, Jalisco. After promoting the aforementioned title, they made presentations nationwide where they were required to record their second material in Mexico City, which never went on sale for the reasons of the first label. In 1995 they move to Los Angeles, California. In that city, they are discovered by the Argentine producer Horacio Lanzi and his company "Hola Rock and Pop", who produces the material entitled "Hechos Raros" from which the singles "Toque de Queda" and "El Sinaloense" are released, That material was recorded in the "Hot Tin Roof" studios in North Hollywood in 1996. Two videos were filmed and the material was finally distributed by the record company Fonovisa. During the recording they had invited people such as: Banda El Recodo, Victimas del Dr. Cerebro, Diego Di Pietri and Rick Deliz. During his brief career, Hechos Raros alternated with bands such as: ATERCIOPELADOS, FOBIA, MALDITA VENCINDAD, LA LEY, LA LUPITA, VÍCTIMAS DEL DOCTOR CEREBRO, TIJUANA NO, RABANES, ENANITOS VERDES, PASTILLA, among others. They appeared in cities such as: CHICAGO, MIAMI, TUCSON, SAN FRANCISCO, SAN JOSE, SALINAS, AUSTIN, LOS ANGELES, SAN DIEGO, TIJUANA, ENSENADA, GUADALAJARA. ETC.
