Herve' Romain

(1969-2006) Born on November 13, 1969 in Dover, Delaware, Romain was a video operator and promoter. He was formerly a street gang member, before being F. Gary Gray's assistant until 1995. In 1996, he joined Relativity Records to be visual manager for video promotion, using financial opposition for Ruthless Records. In 1999, when Ted Field took his resume at Relativity, he appointed Romain executive vice president of video promotion at Interscope Records. On September 12, 2006, Romain was shot and killed outside of the G-Unit offices in New York, causing a ballistic stroke in his right lung. He died just one hour after being shot. He was 36 years old. His murder remains unsolved.
