Desmond Orlando Powell aka Bobby T is the last of 3 children that was born to Sandra Elaine Facey he was born in 1971. He grew up in the Kingston 10 area in the vicinity of Omara Road. His educational background are as follows Teacher Williams Basic, Maxfield Park Primary, Melrose All Age, Tivoli Gardens Comprensive High and Kingston Technical High school where he study electronics while involving in the music business. He started as a selector on his brother’s sound system. He then moved on to Love Bird Disco, Soul Horizon,Survival Faith, Tropics International and Burning Flames.He then, started to cover popular songs for artists such as Dennis Brown, Barrington Levy, Cocoa Tea and his favorite Sanchez whom is his inspirator. While working at the Jamaica Printing Service as a store clerk where he was always singing songs of Garnet Silk, Sanchez and others popular vocalists. He met Clive Francis, while clubing on weekends at Godfathers and Bleachers night club where he won his first music thropys. Clive Introduced Him to Alric Depass, the producer of Akshon House, who recorded his fisrt single My Goal that was released in 1996. Others follow such as Rough Old Life, Are You Ready, Days Are Coming.
