Heinz Goedecke

Radio host in the German radio station, mainly "Deutschlandsender", later "Großdeutscher Rundfunk" in the 1930ies and early 1940ies. Born ~1902, died in Braunschweig 1959. Creator of the benefit radio show "Wunschkonzert für das Winterhilfswerk" which was used for fundraising for public social aid. This show was one of the predecessor of the later "Wunschkonzert Für Die Wehrmacht" (see [m918731]) where the show became an instrument of war propaganda until 1941. Hein Goedecke also played himself as radio host in the 1940 propaganda movie "Wunschkonzert".
