Charanga Típica Nacional de Concierto

Cuban orchestra founded in the year 1960 by the pianist and researcher [a1433982] and since its inception its repertoire was nurtured by the main representative genres of the 19th century and the first part of the 20th century in Cuba: mainly the contradanza, the danza and the danzón . Orquesta Charanga Típica de Conciertos: The importance of this orchestra is that it rescues, discloses and defends in its original style the French charanga, that is, the sound-musical result both from the timbral point of view as well as from the harmonic and rhythmic general of this group.
