Formed in 1993 as Strippe-D Lady by Taka (vocalist and leader) and Hiro (guitar). The Osaka based band, that played hard rock and heavy metal at that time recruited Koji (guitar), Levin (drums) and bassist Kita-J through a small audition. Kita-J left October 1994 and was replaced by Shuse. After changing their name to La'cryma Christi they released their first single, Siam's Eye on a local indies label then moved to Tokyo in 1996. Already being associated with the visual kei scene, which was at its peak at the time, they signed to a major label in 1997 and debuted with Ivory Trees, playing a powerful, but more melodic kind of rock. Later, in 2003 they founded their own label, Majestic Ring, but Koji left in March 2005 and they disbanded in January 2007.
