Alejandro Otaola is an Anglo-Mexican performer and composer, known for his work alongside Santa Sabina, the group he belongs to since 1994, and the rock group La Barranca, which he joined in 1998 and split in 2007; That same year he published his first work (multimedia) soloist Fractals. In 2008 he is invited to the XV International Video Art Festival in Casablanca, Morocco. He is the first Mexican guitarist whose music has been included in the cd-sampler of the Spanish magazine 'Guitarra Total'. Currently he is integrated to the rock group San Pascualito Rey next to edit a new album titled "Valiente" besides being promoting and distributing for free his second solo album El Hombre de la Cámara, a work recorded live in 2010 at the National Cineteca during the cycle "Bandas Sonoras a Ritmo de Rock". Occasionally he performs as a duo with Eblén Macari or as part of the Interior 3 ensemble with Jimena Giménez Cacho and Jorge 'Cox' Gaytán, as well as collaborating with soloists and bands like Cecilia Toussaint, El Haragán y Compañía, Quem, Zoe, Fratta, Panteón Rococó, Regina Orozco, San Pascualito Rey, Iraida Noriega, Monocordio, José Fors and A Love Electric (Todd Clouser), among others besides writing articles for several national magazines.
