Bingie "Stilgo" Madison (Born 12 October 1901, Des Moines, Iowa, USA - died July 1978 in New York City, New York, USA) was an American jazz tenor saxophonist, clarinetist and pianist. Early in his career he played piano. He formed his own band in 1926, but in the early 1930s joined Luis Russell, whose band began accompanying Louis Armstrong and recorded under the latter's name from 1935. Madison stayed until 1940, then playing with Edgar Hayes, a.o., recording with Hank Duncan's trio in 1944, and leading his own small band. He played with many artists and orchestras including: Bobby Brown (2) (1921/22, August 1922 to 1925), Bernie Davis, Cliff Jackson, Lew Henry (? to 1930) , Elmer Snowden, Sam Wooding, Lucky Millinder, Billy Fowler, The Mills Blue Rhythm Band and Luis Russell And His Orchestra.
