Being inspired by the Stacy DuPree's Sucré, Ffrench for sweet, Dan decided to make a project for love songs and experiments using the same language. The name translates to bitter, the opposite of sweet. The group have released a project each year since it's inception in Jan 2012. In 2014 the release of a mix tape marked a stylistic change in apperance and sound. All the tracks were improvised and he used gypsy inspired progressions, and Captain Beefheart inspired vocals. There is also an ep planned for 2015 and will feature another style change in sound. When that EP finally came out in January 2016, Dan announced the project would be on hiatus for now. Currently Dan is the only member of the group, but it's open to other people, he just hasn't found the right person to fill the spot.
