Keri Leigh

American author, journalist, vocalist, songwriter, and record producer, born 21 April 1969, Birmingham, Alabama, USA. She moved to Austin, Texas from her home state of Oklahoma with her then husband, guitarist Mark Lyon, in 1990. Clifford Antone, owner of Austin’s legendary Antone’s nightclub, booked the couple’s musical act every week for about a year. Also that same year, Leigh began working on her first book, Stevie Ray: Soul to Soul, published by Taylor Books out of Dallas in 1993.
