Drummer and percussionist from Brooklyn, New York. Graduated from University of Northern Colorado (1982) with a major in music, and the Alchemea College of Audio Engineering, London UK (2009). Holloway became involved in New York's Celtic music scene in the mid-1990's, recording and touring with numerous Irish artists, such as Solas, Mary Rafferty, Martin and Marie Rielly, The McCabes, Karen Casey, Brian Kennedy, Cathie Ryan, Jerry O'Sullivan, Whirligig, Seamus Egan, Natalie MacMaster, Donal Clancy, Bonnie Rideout and many others. Holloway has also worked with many pop and jazz luminaries including Nat Adderley, Jill Sobule, John Carlini, Eddie Harris, Mose Allison, David Liebman, Jimmy Bruno, Nelson Rangell, Vassar Clements, Judy Roberts, and Rare Silk. Holloway has been a featured soloist with the show Riverdance, playing over 2000 performances across America and Europe, and also on the long running Riverdance on Broadway at the Gershwin Theater in New York. In 2003 Holloway was a founding member of Sin é Rí-Ra at New York, New York Hotel in Las Vegas, and was featured with solo spots and feature numbers on the North American premier of Heartbeat of Home, a show from the producers of Riverdance. Holloway was also part of the first national tour of the musical Come From Away, after being a regular freelancer on Broadway production at the Schoenfeld Theatre. Holloway has appeared on CBS Early Morning, NPR's Morning Edition, Echoes and Mountain Stage, and on Ireland's RTE Late Late Show and TG4's Flosc.
