Singer / Songwriter from Perth, Western Australia. From BandCamp: John’s songs and tunes reflect the diversity of music influences from a lifetime of playing. Songs of Social Comment, Love songs, Comedy songs Chorus songs and Traditional songs and tunes from The UK and Australia. All played with a contemporary feel but with roots firmly in the tradition. From ReverbNation: I have been a musician for over 30 years and have been influenced by many Genres and Artists. From playing drums in Marching bands and rock bands to playing guitar Banjo and Mandolin in various Irish and UK Folk, Country and Rock ,bands as well as appearing solo at Folk clubs ,Pubs and Festivals throughout the UK and Australia. All this has resulted in a sound that is contemporary but has it's roots in Tradition. I have organised songwriting workshops for the Folk Federation.I also play in The Western Australian Classical Guitar Society Orchestra.
