David Teniers II

Flemish Baroque painter, printmaker and draughtsman (bapt. 15 December 1610, Antwerp – 25 April 1690, Brussels). Court painter and the curator of the collection of Archduke Leopold Wilhelm, founder of the Antwerp Academy. Son of David Teniers the Elder, he is also known as David Teniers the Younger (language variants "de Jonge", "der Jüngere", "le Jeune", "il Joven" etc.). His son David Teniers III and his grandson David Teniers IV were also painters. Credits saying only "(David) Teniers" most likely belong to the more famous son.
