Ricky Carl Jacox (Born October 10, 1978) in Chicago Illinois, was introduced to music by his Mother (Vocalist) and Father (Bass Guitarist and Vocalist). At an early age he started playing keyboards and other percussion instruments. In 2001 Jacox submitted a demo tape to Trax Records and shortly after signed with the legendary house music label. In 2002 his debute Ep, "The Weed Song" was released worldwide. In 2004 Ricky became one of the first Hip hop rnb producers granted permission from Rod Temperton to remake the Michael Jackson classic Rock with you. Ricky has worked with and performed with many notable Chicago artists including Twista, Crucial Conflict, Do Or Die, Snypaz, Dude 'N Nem and 3piece. Formally known as Huck, Ricky now goes by Jaxson Mazz, deciding to change his stage name after a 2010 departure from music. Inspired by passion Ricky decided to return to music in 2018. In 2007 Eric McNeal lead singer of Motown Records/Michael Bivins of New Edition (Biv 10 Records) signed rnb group Subway released a Solo album, written, composed and produced by Ricky and Two time Grammy Award winner Jim Tullio. Multiple Billboard chart topping artist Chryl Wilson features on the album alongside McNeal. Ricky continues his musical journey, planning to release new music he's produced for a number of up and coming artists. Personal: Ricky Jacox is the nephew of Gospel Legend Martin Jacox and a distant cousin of Rock N Roll Hall of Famer Tina Turner.
