A longtime disk jockey and TV host, Jerry started out at WNMP in Evanston, IL, where he did the morning drive. He eventually found his way to KYW in Cleveland, where he remained for three years. During this time, he toured with The Beatles. Audio of his interviews with the group have circulated on numerous bootlegs. His biggest claim to fame, however, is that he was the original "Svengoolie", a horror movie host in Chicago, from 1970-1973. The role was taken over by his protege Rich Koz in 1979, who still plays him to this day. As for Bishop, he moved out west to San Diego, and spent the rest of his life there, dying in 2013.
