Assault (12)

Assault was formed in June 2006 by vocalist Clarence and later joined by guitarist Hanesh and bassist Syaz. After several lineup changes, Rhythm Guitarist Noh joined the band in March 2010, Mitch our newest member on drums joined the band on January 2019. The group debut 4-track EP, titled "The Exceptions of the Rebellions “was released on 10th February 2011 recorded and mixed by “Cedric Chew, Inversion Studio”. The EP garnering many positive reviews from reputable heavy metal website & magazine worldwide, one such webzine is locally based Heavy Metal Tribune webzine, the EP was also reviewed on Decibel Magazine. The same year, ASSAULT toured heavily to support their EP release from 2011 to 2012 performing in various countries i.e. Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand (Headliner) & Singapore (Headliner). In September 2012, ASSAULT was the opening band for Decapitated (Poland) & alongside Nervecell (Dubai) in Zouk Singapore organized by Cynical Sound Singapore, this performance further establishes the band experience on bigger stage. The band first full-length album “The Fallen Reich” was released on 10 May 2017 worldwide by Transcending Obscurity Asia, with mixing/mastering handle by Cedric Chew, Inversion Studio. The album garnered attention worldwide and received critical acclaims and recognition such as the “Best Release of the Year – Singapore” awarded by Global Metal Apocalypse in December 2017. In January 2018, its debut album “The Fallen Reich” made it onto Bandwagon top 45 standout Singapore music release. ASSAULT toured heavily in 2017 and 2018 to support the album released in Mongolia, Malaysia, Philippines and Singapore. The band is also the first South-East Asia band to perform in the annual “Noise Metal Festival” held in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. The band has completed to recording it’s second album entitled “In Aevum Et IIustrata” in November 2020. The album slated for released in mid-2021.
