John Martin (35)

American dance critic for the New York Times from 1927 to 1962 and author of many liner notes for classical music. A key figure in the development of modern dance in the United States and the most influential writer on dance at the time. Born 2 June 1893 in Louisville, Kentucky; died 19 May 1985 in Saratoga Springs, New York.
