Об исполнителе:
Montreal based Wizard was formed in 1970 by classically trained Harry Marks (bass) while working on the CBC-TV show 'Crackers'. At the end of the TV show's run, he hooked up with Mike Driscoll (drums) and George Bowser (guitar) to create Wizard. The band lasted two years with several personnel changes and only managed one single before self-destructing in 1972. The single "Come Away" was the first Canadian produced single released by the recently established MCA Records (Canada). Harry Marks went onto a solo career with such songs as "Sad And Simple Man", "Every Reason To Be Proud" and "Sou' Western Morning"; George Bowser would gain international success as half of the duo Bowser & Blue (with Rick Blue) who do a bawdy, Canadian political duet. In 1997 they had their own Xmas TV special on the CBC. They're best known for their single "Polka Dot Undies".
