Ed Rome is acclaimed writer, recording artist and producer. He has written and recorded many albums in many genres as well as material for other artists and done countless guest spots. His latest album Snapshot and its reworked version Snapshot: Dubs & Subs have received much critical acclaim and BBC Radio Play alike from Steve Lamacq (BBC 6 Music), Craig Charles (BBC 6 Music), David Rodigan (Radio 1Xtra), Don Letts (BBC 6 Music), Robert Elms (BBC London), Alex Lester (BBC Radio 2), Tom Robinson (BBC Introducing) and Gideon Coe (BBC 6 Music). His previous Reggae album A Life in Minutes received much praise, most notable being Steve Lamacq naming it the best reggae album of the year on his BBC Radio 2 show.
