Giannis Varelidis

Greek drummer, composer, recording & mix engineer, sound designer, producer (at Art Lab Studio, Xanthi), teacher, and author. Born in 1975 in Thessaloniki, Greece. In 2004, he formed Phasma+. He joined Five Star Hotel in 2005. In 2011, he set up the project Undermind Professor. Since 2000, he has taught drums at various schools both in Thessaloniki and in Xanthi, where he currently resides. In 2014, he published the book 'Building the groove'.
