The Dycke Brothers was a country rock band from the seventies of the twentieth century. The band came from the lesser known Dickson Brothers. This was a country group, founded around 1962 by four brothers from the Dicke family in Dordrecht. From 1972 they played under the name Dycke Brothers. Members were Andre Dicke, Dop Dicke, Rop Dicke, Freek Dicke, (cousins of the artist Otto Dicke) and Tony van der Hoek. In addition to an LP and a number of singles, they made dozens of jingles for Radio Noordzee International in the seventies of the last century, such as: "You are at work and the radio plays, on the shop, in the car, or at home, music from the North Sea is always with you, with Radio 220 "and" Radio Northsea International station "Also jingles were made for the pirate station Hof van Holland in 1975 and Radio Mi Amigo. In 1982 the band provided the background vocals on the LP Eye to eye of Lenny Kuhr. A few brothers played in the band of Benny Neyman in the early nineties. Freek Dicke has performed with many famous artists such as Rob de Nijs, Bonnie St. Claire, Willeke Alberti, Paul de Leeuw and René Froger
