Duo of Gili Netanel and Galit Burg, best known for their performance of "Derech HaMelech" (The Kings Road) at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1989 representing Israel. Netanel was 12 years old at the time. Formed. 1989, Israel ; Members. גילי נתנאל [Gili Netanel] (vocals), גלית בורג [Galit Borg] (vocals). Galit Borg, who became famous while starring as part of the "Gili and Galit" group in the 1989 Eurovision Song Contest. Borg was 54 years of age at the time of her death (28 November 2022). Dies in car accident.
