B-Funky

Back in the mid-eighties, when house music evolved to a massive genre, B-Funky got hooked on the elevating, energetic and funky records spinned by DJ’s in trendsetting venues around the globe. Instantly, B-Funky realized all he needed to arouse a crowd were 2 turntables, a mixer and an impressive collections of funky house vinyls. Born in Beverwijk, near Amsterdam, B-Funky was close to the beating heart of house-music. This is the place where B-Funky grows out to be a well skilled DJ: constantly on a mission to create an inspiring fusion of uplifting beats an funky house sounds. B-Funky: “It’s indeed a blessing and of course a pleasure to spin the decks in Holland’s hottest clubs that brought the international house-scene so many amazing talents”. Back in 2010, while still active as a DJ, B-Funky started producing his own funky house tracks. The Sound of Ibiza Records signed B-Funky in 2012. After the first release on this label (Sekunda, 2012) B-Funky got invitated by Giel Beelen, one of the leading DJ’s of the national radio station 3FM. B-Funky mixed a live set during Giel's radioshow “Nachtegiel”.
