Cool Creations Of St Maarten were formed in 1975 by Carlyle Barriteau, Funk Gumbs and Winston Macco. They were all in their last year of High School in St Maarten. The name Cool Creations was inspired by Kool And The Gang, one of their off Island influences. The band mainly played hotels, local dance clubs and carnival parades and in 1977 they recorded one self-titled LP
