Curly Herndon

When he was 13, he had his own band and radio program. Moved to Shreveport, Louisiana and joined Slim Whitman's band and the KWKH Louisiana Hayride. He could be heard on Slim's Imperial recordings and in fact, had his own recording contract with the Imperial label with his partner, Hoot Rains. About late 1953, there release for Imperial was "I'm Alone Tonight" and "I'm Doing Fine Without You."
