Lunds Studentsångare
Настоящее имя: Lunds Studentsångare
Об исполнителе:
Founded in 1831, Lunds Studentsångare (Lund Student Singers, LSS) is a male choir which, despite its long history, has been able to maintain its desire to develop over the years thanks to its professional and dedicated choirmasters. In 2023, the choir counts around 55 tenors and basses with different backgrounds, education and occupations. The choir is perhaps best known for the spring song on the steps of Lund University House on 1 May, which is often broadcast live on SVT. In addition to concerts in Lund and the rest of Sweden, it also performs international collaborations every year with symphony orchestras and other choirs. Since the 2000s, the choir seems to use the name "Lunds Studentsångare", but variations of the name have been used throughout the years (such as "Lunds Studentsångförening", which even now is the name of the association behind the choir, and its variation "Lunds Studentsångarförening"). Multiple variations in English also exist ("Lund University Male-Voice Choir", "Lund's Student Choral Society", "Lund Student Singers", and "Lund Male Chorus").
