Vi Mele

American vocalist, pianist, and songwriter, who sang with various orchestras in the 1930s. She started her career in the radio, and in 1935 joined the orchestra of Johnny Johnson (12). She also performed with the orchestras of Herb Gordon (2) (1936), Freddy Martin (1938), Jimmy Dorsey (1938), and Henry Busse (1938–1939). Her sister Louise Mele was a vaudeville singer and dancer.
