Александр Короткий

Russian operatic bass vocalist (anglicised: Alexander Korotky), currently soloist of the Bolshoi Theater Alexander Korotky - a native of the Gomel region of Belarus. Studied with Hugo Tietz at the Moscow Conservatory. P.I. Tchaikovsky. He made his first steps on the professional stage at the Leningrad State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater, where he performed from 1986 to 1988, then moved to the Moscow Academic Musical Theater. Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko, where he worked for two seasons. From 1990 to 1992, Alexander Korotky was a soloist of the Moscow Novaya Opera Theater directed by E. Kolobov. He joined the Bolshoi Theater in 1995.
