Basile Kolliopoulos

Guitarist and vocalist in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was known for his work with rhythm and blues influenced rock bands Fensics, Fortune Tellers and Reverb Brothers. Born November 1, 1953 and died January 28, 2013, age 59. In the late 1970s, Basile Kolliopoulos moved from Greece to study art at Oklahoma City University and pursue a music career in America. He formed the band Fensics in Oklahoma City in 1978, followed by Fortune Tellers. He left Oklahoma City to play guitar in the Senders in New York City in the early 1980s before moving back and reforming Fortune Tellers with his brother Miho Kolliopoulos in 1981. He fronted the band Reverb Brothers from the 1990s into 2012.
