Canadian orchestra founded in 1978. The first concert of the OSTR was presented on October 21, 1978, where Gilles Bellemare conducted works by Beethoven, Stravinsky and Rossini. His successor, Jacques Lacombe was appointed in 2006 and held its leadership until 2018. Jean-Claude Picard (2) succeeded him in February 2019.
