Chuck Williams (4)

Canadian producer, manager, and record company executive, mainly with longtime partner Don Grashey. In 1960, he and Grashey discovered Loretta Lynn and released her first single "I'm A Honky Tonk Girl" on their Vancouver label Zero (5). In 1965 Williams and Grashey founded Gaiety Records Ltd. and publisher D & L Music Publications. They moved the operation to Hollywood, California in 1966 but returned to Canada in 1969, setting up shop in Thunder Bay, Ontario where they founded DMG Sound Studio.
