Argentinian singer and actor. Born on January 13, 1940 in the Santa Fe town of Cañada de Gómez, son of the Italian Juan Rech, a native of Mell Beluno, Venice, and the Campanense Magdalena Peretto. His beginnings in music were in the early 1960s with songs that were already hits in Europe and the United States, including the Spanish version of "Aline", a hit by French singer Christophe. His greatest hits knocked on his door when he joined producer Ben Molar to make his first compositions. In 1961 his first LP was recorded for the Disc Jockey record label, which was followed by several more with the accompaniment of Horacio Malvicino's orchestra. He obtained the greatest success in the 1960s, often interpreting "hits" of the Italian and French song for the RCA Victor house, and it is there at the height of his resonance that he begins to use the nickname Juan "Corazón" Ramón, for the tone of his romantic music, although he has also ventured into tango and tropical music, beginning in the 1980s. In 1970 he performed in Panama, where he was so successful that he settled there for a time, obtaining gratifying results from your stay. The same thing happened in Colombia. In the year 1977 and until 1983, Juan Ramón settled in Peru, and it is there where he meets who his current wife is. In mid-1983 he returned to Argentina, hired by Mario Kaminsky, producer of Microfón Argentina SA (MICSA), releasing a dozen LPs between 1983 and 1988. He would soon reap excellent sales in his country, with new appearances on television, and it would fill the Astros Theater, on Corrientes Street, in a series of shows with great public success. At the end of 1988, he disassociated himself from Microfón, to go on to record for other record companies, venturing into tropical music and from the 1990s, his records range from melodic to pop and from quartet to cumbia, always with the public support and acceptance. Throughout his career, Juan Ramón covered various rhythms and melodies, without forgetting tango, recording more than 1,300 songs, some of which are still unreleased in Argentina. In the same way he received numerous awards and recognitions, and continued to tour abroad, especially Latin America and even the United States, where every year he performs the "Valentine's Day" recital in New York. 2010 found him celebrating his 50 years with music, and touring Argentina with his shows, presentations on radio and TV stations.
